Day 33/90 – Learn how you can turn a stressful situation into a great opportunity

Yeah, I am not ready to let go of the topics from Psycho-Cybernetics yet. If you haven’t read the book: EMAIL ME at ron@elitetrafficcommunity.com and I will send you a free copy. This book should be mandatory in school… get it!

I am still on stress management as a topic. Yesterday we talked about how you can practice not reacting immediately and with stress. Today I want you to start practicing stressful situations ahead of time and by that, relieving some of the pressure from it.

An example from the video today is stressful conversations with your boss(assuming you are not an internet marketer and you actually work from someone else). Picture yourself preparing to ask your boss for a promotion or a raise. You may be worried that your boss will turn you down, maybe worried he will ask you some tough questions… What if he brings up that mistake you made with the orders last quarter? What if someone has complained on your performance without you knowing it, and now he will bring it up to prevent having to give you a raise? –> Here’s what you do:

Sit down and spend some time picturing how the conversation may go. What is the most likely turn of events. Word by word, hear the conversation in your mind. When you feel like you are done – start over but make the conversation take a slightly different turn. Then do it again. And again… until you are sure you have gone through all the possible outcomes. Prepare for the arguments and questions your boss may ask you. See yourself giving the proper answers.

By doing this you remove the stress from the situation. You can go into the meeting knowing that no matter what your boss will throw at you – you have an answer and you will not be nervous about stumbling along. You GOT THIS!

Sounds good? Try it the next time you are dreading something… see how much better it makes you feel.

Day 12/90 – 90 Day Opportunity – Self-Reliance

Wait, you jumped from Day 8 to Day 12? You cheated on your challenge!!?

Nope, I didn’t. But my videos in between were posted on my other Empower Network blog.

Watch them HERE

Day 12/90 –

Got stuck in traffic this morning and started seeing how the chain effects of that delay could impact my day and all that I needed to do. The result? You’re getting a “live-from-traffic” video today.

Anyways, topic of today is Self-Reliance. We have two parts of self-reliance, one is self-deprecation and the other is self-conceit.

With self-deprecation you believe in preconceived notions about what you may or may not be good at, putting limits to your life and ideas. You would be literally strangling your dreams.

Self-conceit on the other hand makes you believe that you don’t need anyone, you become boastful and arrogant.

Both of these two can be very damaging for your chances of becoming successful. Work on it, be aware and control them so that you can open up a way of getting to where you want to be.

Day 8/90 – 90 Day Opportunity – Don’t Be a Shell of Yourself

Went on a run this morning and it was the longest run I’ve done for at least the last 2 years! I used to be in a bad spot.. At some point I even smoked a pack of cigarettes per day. Since I started working on my mindset and my personal growth, things have changed.

Life feels brighter and happier for each day!

Topic of today relates to this and how I want you to NOT be a shell of yourself(like that cool sculpture we found at the Hirshorn Sculpture Garden). We were just walking by and spotted it, felt like it would be a good image to put up for the topic of the day(plus I was dying from my run and needed a break!)

Work on yourself, expand yourself and make sure you utilize all you can of your abilities.

It feels AWESOME.

Have a great Sunday evening!

Day 7/90 – 90 Day Opportunity – Find those with similar goals, hang out, be successful!

Wow, I can’t believe it is day 7 already… Kinda scary how fast time passes sometimes.

I have had 7 days of making one video per day. It’s been good but also very challenging at times. Some days I know exactly what I want to tell you guys. Other days I have to dig deep to think of what you would find interesting or valuable. PLEASE if you have a preference on what direction you want me to take in these videos, topics etc, let me know.

I have also had 7 days of my new workout regime. I have a set of exercises I have to do each single day.. Same things, every day.. but some exercises I increase reps/sets per day, others I increase per week.. I already feel stuff happening so we’ll see how I will feel in 90 days! woooh

Anyways, I’m losing track here.. Topic of today is one that fascinates me… How your environment can affect your ability to reach your goals. How you should surround yourself with likeminded people who aim for the same accomplishments as yourself, and how by doing this you can be so much more successful! Get together, work together for the common goal and see how much smoother it gets.

I have to say that the world wide web has made this world so much smaller for me, and helped me connect with other likeminded people from all over the place! Through my blog, twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc.. It makes it easier to connect and grow.

So, that’s all for today folks!

Ron

Day 6/90 – BIM Opportunity – The Four Pillars of Integrity

Happy Friday, everyone!

I hope you have had an amazing week! I know I did..

This is my first Friday during the 90 Day Video Opportunity, and to keep your attention I decided to switch out the tree/park background and went somewhere different.

Hopefully you have seen my last few videos where I give some hands on suggestions on how to handle every day challenges. Today’s topic relates to all of my previous videos. How, you say? Well, without integrity none of the other techniques will last for long. You need to build your integrity with some pretty solid pillars to be able to keep this up. Honestly, this is my bad, but this video should  probably have been number 1, and not number 6.. oh well, there you go.. That’s part of the process of learning I guess.

Anyways, I am getting late for a BBQ with my friends now so I gotta duck out. I hope you enjoy my video and that you have a fantastic nice and relaxing Friday night.

Talk to you tomorrow!

Ron

PS. Would love if you look me up these other spots as well:

Day 5/90 – 90 Day Opportunity – Anger, the disease we all carry the cure for

Wow, day five and my muscles are sore. Only 85 more days to go on this!

Topic of today is how to prevent anger from controlling your thoughts and your every day life. How important it is to not let yourself carry your frustrations with you through your day. In the end, you are the one who get hurt the most from carrying anger around.

Do you think that guy in traffic that cut you off in the morning rush hour really remembers your encounter all day? No, let it go and move on. Leave space in your mind for growth and positivity. Don’t let anger bury your mind. Don’t let your anger become your disease.

Day 17/30: 30/30/30 Challenge – Dropping by to share this extremely motivating video!

Happy Saturday, everyone! 🙂

Hope your weekend is fantastic. Hope your challenge is going great!

Wanted to quickly drop by to share this extremely motivating video I came across today. This guy, a veteran barely able to walk, went from obese and weak to super fit and running around. Very impressive.
