‘What does the Fox say’ – going very viral

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you have heard the latest viral sensation – the Fox song – by Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker.

Oh, you say you HAVE actually been under a rock? OK, then you should stop reading right now and click HERE to watch the video.

Anyways, since they started going way viral they have been receiving a LOT of attention. This is coming from other youtubers, from talk shows, from news channels etc etc. In Norway they have pretty much been in the news since they were at 600 000 views. As I write this they have over 49 million views on Youtube. The video was first published September 3rd.. that is only 20 days. Reflect on that for a second…

I am about to start a Viral Video study. I want to figure out what it is that makes some videos go full scale viral while other videos barely get views.

It will be a big study but I will take you along with me every step of the way.

So – today I just wanted to show you two recent cover versions of the Fox song. One is done by the news channel Fox, the other by Abercrombie & Fitch.

What does the fox say?

We all know the cow says moo and the dog says woof…. But do you really know what the fox actually says? These two Norwegian guys(Ylvis) decided to give it a shot… Then it went Viral!

See for yourself, can you tell me what made it so popular?

Blogging/Blog topics: What to blog about(Here are 10 suggestions)

I have had a lot of people telling me “Blogging is not for me”, “I could never do what you do”, “How do you come up with something to say each day?”, “videos?? oh no, nope, not me, never!”.

This blog post goes out to YOU!

Trust me, I knew very little about blogging when I first started out and I am still very much learning. However, I have learned a lot and I figured it was time to share some of my top tips on how to know what to blog about.

1. Write about something that interest you or that you are good at.
Maybe you like baking – share a recipe you recently tried and give your review of how it turned out.
Maybe you are into fitness and want to share a new workout routine you are doing.
Maybe you are a pet lover – tell people how you take care of your pets, talk about diet, exercise, fur care etc. You name it!
2. Write about something current in the news.
Look at the news and see what is going on this day, is there something there you have an opinion on or something you liked or disliked? In the sports section, news section, entertainment section.. Anything that caught your attention that you would like to share with your readers?
P.S. writing about current news and tagging your blog post properly increase your chances of traffic drawn to that blog post.
3. Write about something popular/trending.
Think about what a lot of people would be looking for, what do people like to read/watch? Think of something that is constantly popular and see if you can put your own twist to it.
I made a collection of youtube videos with babies laughing once, this post is still giving me loads of traffic because people seem to love babies laughing! Check out the blog post here.
4. Write about a day in your life.
People love to hear about other people’s lives.  Take a day and make notes on what you do all day and report it. Use some photos. Make it light and funny. Or announce in the morning a schedule of what you plan to do, then the next day you can report how it all went down.
5. Make videos!
A lot of people may be uncomfortable with the idea of making videos of themselves and making them public. However, people love videos! It’s quick, easy and harmless. I am doing a 90 Day Video Challenge right now. I’m on day 44 today but I have already made a ton of videos. Make a video, post it to Youtube and share it on your blog.
You will be amazed at how comfortable you get after a few videos.
Here are some of my latest videos from the video challenge.
6. Try something new and share your results.
This one relates to number 5 in a way. If there is something you always wanted to do or something you are afraid of doing – set yourself a goal and make it a challenge for yourself. Let your readers know what you are planning to accomplish and how you will go about it. Then let us know how it goes as you go along. It could be a workout challenge – doing something for X number of days, or it could be to finally go snowboarding etc. A one time challenge, overcoming a fear or just a time based challenge of doing something for several days to see the effects. Be creative, think outside the box!
7. Write reviews.
Do a quick search. Find something new, maybe there is a new movie that just came out that everyone is talking about, maybe there is a product or program you can test. Read up on it, watch the movie(if it’s a movie you want to review), get a good idea of the product/program and then write a review blog post about it. For instance “Man of Steel: Review”. Tag it properly and make a topic line that is catchy and descriptive. Super easy!
8. Make lists!
People love lists! This one relates to several of the other tips but it is so effective that it deserves its now number here. Find something you are interested in or that you think others are interested in or looking for. Make it a list.. for instance “top 5 blablablah”, “top 7 blablabla” etc. Maybe you are talking about funny photos or funny videos.. products, websites, people, motivators, politicians ,grocery stores, soda flavors.. be creative! gather good visuals(like photos and videos), link it all into your blog and give it a good title. You’d be surprised at how much people enjoy these.
9. Share other people’s stuff.
OK, so you are completely burnt out of ideas or you just don’t have the time to sit down and spend time on your blog today. How about looking around Youtube. You can find all kinds of videos there. Look for a video you think is funny, interesting, educational, emotional or cool.. A video that somehow catches your interest. Click “Share”> Click “embed”, copy that link, come back to your blog and make a new blog post, paste that link into the TEXT tab of your post editor.. click back to VISUAL and voila.. you have a cool video that you liked, and now you can share it to your readers through your blog. It took you 5 minutes max.
Also, you can look at other blogs, if you find something you like you can click “reblog” up to the left in your browser window and share that content on your own blog in a heartbeat.
10. Ask your readers what they want to hear!
This one may be challenging if your readers are not a very active bunch, but you’d be surprised to see how many actually respond when you ask for specific action. Simply ask your readers what they want to read more about. What do the like from your previous posts? What do they see more of?
You can also make a poll like I will do here at the bottom of my blog post to demonstrate. I will ask you if you found this blog post helpful in coming up with things to blog about. I want you to click the poll and let me know!

Day 17/30: 30/30/30 Challenge – Dropping by to share this extremely motivating video!

Happy Saturday, everyone! 🙂

Hope your weekend is fantastic. Hope your challenge is going great!

Wanted to quickly drop by to share this extremely motivating video I came across today. This guy, a veteran barely able to walk, went from obese and weak to super fit and running around. Very impressive.

Today is The First Day of The Rest Of Your Life:The 30/30/30 Challenge

I really want us to do this challenge together. I have actually already done this every day for the last 6 months and it has had a tremendous impact on my life and to my mentality. I challenge you to start off NOW and join me for the next 30 days..

What is the 30/30/30 Challenge?

1. Spend 30 minutes every day reading a book. Not just any kind of book, but a book that will help you reprogram your mind and your mindset. A book that will be motivational and help you change your life. I have many suggestions for you if you don’t already have one in mind.

For instance:

Think and Grow Rich – by Napoleon Hill

The Laws of Success – by Napoleon Hill

Psycho-Cybernetics – by Maxwell Maltz

How To Win Friends And Influence People – by Dale Carnegie

2. Spend 30 minutes every day listening to someone that inspires you. If you are a member of Empower Network or Big Idea Mastermind you know what I am talking about. You can find a ton of these motivational mentoring videos in our back office. Spend at least 30 minutes each day on these. If you are NOT a member of either of these networks you can always find good stuff around youtube or the world wide web.. I suggest you spend some time before you start this challenge to locate a few good videos so that when you start the challenge you have some material ready. You can also find good audiobooks or podcasts etc. Email me or comment below if you want suggestions!

3. Watch at least ONE of my blog videos per day. They are all available on YouTube but you find most of them also on this blog. My video blogs touch the subjects of many of the books I mentioned above. The topic is mostly motivational, on reprogramming of your mind and working on a mindset for success.

Do all of this for 30 days straight. Then let me know if this would NOT work for you. Cause I believe it will work for each one of you who decide to take action and make the commitment.

It is a commitment for your future. A commitment for your success in life. A commitment for your happiness.

This is building your foundation. Without the proper foundation you will have a much harder time being successful in anything you attempt to do, either it is in online business/network marketing or in your personal life. Everyone should do this!

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any comments/questions etc.

Best,

Ron

Why You Should Never Say “You’re Wrong”

You may find yourself in a heated discussion sometimes, or you may feel frustrated and upset about what is being discussed in front of you because you feel someone is wrong in what they are saying. How do you react? What do you do?

Today’s video blog is about how you should NOT tell someone that they are WRONG!

Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

Here is How To Win Friends And Influence People!

Happy Hump Day!

A lot of you enjoyed my last video-book suggestion with Napoleon Hill and “Think and Grow Rich”. Thank you so much for responding to me and sharing your own reflections and thoughts!

I understand it perfectly well that sitting down to read a book doesn’t always “fit into” our schedule sometimes. This recording is a perfect background sound and entertainment. Turn it on while you clean your house, shave, eat lunch or whatever situation you see fit..

It’s another good book with some great lessons in it.
